Steven Yeun made a name for himself on The Walking Dead. Now he’s inked a first-look deal with Amazon to create great TV shows and more.

The Walking Dead fans immediately fell in love with Steven Yeun’s Glenn on the series. While it’s been a while since we’ve seen him, Yeun has just inked a first-look deal with Amazon hinting there’s more of him to come soon.

Let’s be honest; Glenn’s death was one of the most shocking. It happened in the Season 7 premiere and we weren’t quite ready for it. And it certainly immediately made us hate Negan, even if we love Jeffrey Dean Morgan. However, there’s a lot more hope for Yeun, and not just as the Stranger on The Twilight Zone.

More from Amazon

Deadline reports that Yeun has inked a first-look deal, which means he will come up with TV shows and productions that are aimed at Amazon Prime Video’s audience. With a first-look deal, it means that Amazon gets first dibs. If Amazon decides against it, Yeun can shop it elsewhere.

However, the first-look deal is only for his producing work. He doesn’t have to act in the projects and if he does take up an acting job, it doesn’t need to be with Amazon. Yet, he could choose to star in a series that he does produce for the streamer.

In fact, fans will get to see him in A24’s upcoming movie, Minari. He also executive produced the movie. Fans will also get to hear his voice on Amazon’s Invincible, an animated adaptation of the comic of the same name. The Walking Dead creator Robert Kinneman created the Invincible comics.

It’s certainly exciting to see first-look deals still take place at this time. It’s also exciting to see what Steven Yeun is going to bring.
