Amazon Prime isn’t offering much new to its catalog this weekend, but fans can catch up on the hit Starz show Vida and a few other selections!

Since we’re getting close to a new month, Amazon isn’t adding as much new content to its catalog this weekend. Amazon Prime has made a surprise drop of the Jonas Brothers in concert and that’s it, but if you subscribe to the Starz add-on channel you’ll be able to stream the Season 3 premiere of Vida starting on April 26.

Vida is a drama series about two Mexican-American sisters who return to their childhood home in Los Angeles after the death of their mother. The third season is set to premiere this weekend, specifically on Sunday night at 9/8c on the channel but will be on the app from midnight. Season 3 of the popular show will consist of only six episodes and the third season will also be its final season.

More from Amazon

It is a quick binge-watch so if you haven’t seen Vida yet, now is a great time to watch the first two seasons ahead of the Season 3 premiere. However, if Vida doesn’t interest you, Amazon Prime has added a lot of great movies to its catalog in April.

If you haven’t had the chance to watch films like The Lighthouse, Hotel Artemis, or Rambo: First Blood, this weekend could be the perfect time to host a mini-movie marathon. Other recent and buzzy Amazon Prime originals include Selah and the Spades, Tales from the Loop, and the sixth season of Bosch. New rentals like Underwater and The Turning are also available for your viewing pleasure.

What to look forward to:

  • Footloose (2011) – Apr. 29
  • Upload Season 1 – May 1
  • The Hustle (2019) – May 7
