A lot is happening, including Lyn and Emma trying to focus on the good in their lives. Despite the protests happening outside the bar, they have something that they can be proud of; a legacy they’re excited about taking on.

However, there is a sticky situation to deal with. In the synopsis, we learn that someone from their past looms. The promo makes it clear that their dad is back in town. More importantly, the sisters learn that their dad could be alive. They’ve thought him dead all this time.

So, why did their mom lie about their dad? She clearly left him and not because of her sexual interests. There’s a bigger story to this, and one that the sisters probably shouldn’t get mixed up in. Despite Emma saying that the two of them are all the family they need, Lyn views their dad as “all the family [they] have.” She wants to meet him.
