When will Trolls World Tour be available to buy on Amazon Video?

You can currently rent Trolls World Tour on Amazon Video, but not everyone wants to do that. You want to own it. When will it be available to buy?

Right now, Trolls World Tour is available to rent on Amazon Video. You don’t get to keep the movie, but you get to watch it. You bring the movie theater to your home. But not everyone wants to rent.

There are plenty of people who want to buy the movie. You want to own Trolls 2 at home, but when will that be possible? We’ve looked at a suggested DVD and Blu-ray release date, but what about owning Trolls World Tour digitally through Amazon Video? When can you stream to your heart’s content?

This isn’t going to happen for a while. It’s unclear just how long it’s going to take to bring the movie to DVD and Blu-ray. It could be as early as June 2020, but if Universal sticks to general release times, we’re looking at July 2020. I doubt the Digital release will happen much before the DVD release. After all, there’s more money in renting at the moment and Universal needs to make the budget for the movie back.

So, we’re likely looking at June or July for the movie to be available to purchase on Amazon Video. Most of the releases that have been set for other Universal movies, such as The Hunt and The Invisible Man, haven’t included a clear Digital release date. It’s possible that instead of being made available a few weeks early, the movies will be released on Amazon Video at the same time as on DVD and Blu-ray.
