While Onward is already on Digital and Disney Plus, there are many of you waiting to own it on physical DVD or Blu-ray. I don’t blame you. I’m waiting for the same thing. There’s some great news.

This is a little earlier than we expected. Most Disney and Pix DVDs take about three months to head from theater to DVD, but the coronavirus pandemic had led to a change. The movie is now heading to DVD and Blu-ray a little earlier as the theaters were closed.
You can head to Amazon to pre-order the movie on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K. It’s possible to get the combo packages, which means you’ll get the Digital codes as well. Great for those who didn’t buy on Digital right away since the movie was heading to Disney Plus so quickly.
Onward is a beautiful tale about two brothers. When the younger brother turns 16, their mom gives him a gift from their father. It’s a chance for the brothers to see their late father for just 24 hours, but when the spell goes wrong, the two will need to go on a journey if they want to see their father one more time.
Of course, there’s a tale of family and love as the two brothers head on their journey. This is a movie for the entire family to enjoy.
