Bad Boys for Life coming to DVD and Blu-ray in April 2020

Those looking for a little good news during the current health situation will be happy to hear Bad Boys for Life is coming to DVD and Blu-ray in April.

Are you getting ready for self-isolation or just being stuck inside while waiting for the current health pandemic to pass? Movies are certainly going to be the way to get through it, and there’s great news for those waiting for Bad Boys for Life. The movie is heading to DVD and Blu-ray in April.

Update Mar. 22: Think Jam has reached out to reveal the Amazon listing was incorrect, noting the release date for the title has not yet been confirmed. We’ll let you know as soon as we have the confirmed date for the title’s home entertainment release.

Update Mar. 24: The DVD release date has moved forward a week from the initial release and the Digital release has now been confirmed.

You’ll have to wait until Apr. 21, but the time will pass before you know it with so many other releases happening first. You can get ready for the release right now. It’s possible to pre-order Bad Boys for Life on DVD and Blu-ray through Amazon. Just bear in mind that Amazon is prioritizing essential items, so there may be a delay in sending out the movie.

If you don’t want to wait for the DVD copy, you’ll want to check out the Digital release. This hasn’t been announced yet, but it usually happens a couple of weeks before the DVD release. We could be looking at the middle of April. If not, then we’ll get it by Apr. 28 at the latest.

Update: The Digital release is confirmed for Mar. 31. It’s earlier than expected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sony has already set an early VOD release date for Bloodshot. There’s a chance that will happen for Bad Boys for Life too. After all, Sony is missing out on the theatrical run at the moment so will need to make the money back elsewhere. This is the best way to do it.

It’s certainly a sequel worth waiting for. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return with style, with both critics and audiences loving it. It’s even rated Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, which hasn’t happened with many of these types of releases.
