When will The Hunt be available on Amazon Video, DVD and Blu-ray?

Blumhouse’s controversial film The Hunt has finally been released in theaters. When can you buy the film on Amazon Video, DVD and Blu-ray?
The Hunt is the most talked-about movie that no one ever saw, at least, according to its marketing. The film was first set to release last year but people weren’t very happy about its supposed concept — a group of liberals making a game out of killing right-wing conservatives.
However, the film’s executive producers and directors felt that the marketing was misinterpreted and decided to try releasing the movie again this year, even going so far as to use the criticism to their benefit in the movie’s teasers and new posters. Unfortunately, the movie may still underperform as it isn’t doing great with critics and it happened to release in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Hunt follows a group of strangers who wake up in a mysterious clearing and learn they’re going to be hunted in a terrifying game by a team of “elites.” The film stars Hilary Swank, Emma Roberts, Betty Gilpin, and Ike Barinholtz.
That said, some curious horror fans might still plan on purchasing The Hunt when it releases on Amazon Video, DVD and Blu-ray, so how long will you have to wait to get your hands on a copy?
For previous Universal Pictures titles like Cats, 1917, and Black Christmas, it took about three months to arrive on DVD and Blu-ray. Films tend to come out earlier on Amazon Video, usually two weeks before the physical release date, for Universal movies. So, based on those estimates, you can anticipate being able to purchase The Hunt around June.
