This weekend is the one for horror movies to get release dates. The Lodge is heading to DVD and Blu-ray in May 2020, and here are the details you need.

What type of horror movie do you like? If you like more of the psychological thrillers with a bit of the possible supernatural, then you’re going to want to check out The Lodge. After its limited release in theaters, The Lodge is heading to DVD and Blu-ray.

While not yet available to pre-order at the time of writing this, you’ll be able to own the horror from May 5, 2020. Once it is available to pre-order, you’ll get it with Amazon’s Price Guarantee, so you pay the lowest price up to the release date.

There isn’t a Digital release date set just yet. Most movies will see the Digital copy released two weeks before the DVD and Blu-ray, but sometimes, the companies like to wait until the release of the physical copy. The latest you should get the movie on Digital is May 5.

Riley Keough stars as Grace, a woman who heads to a cabin with her fiance and his two children. They’re supposed to be there as a family but when the fiance (Richard Armitage) is called away for work, Grace is left looking after her future stepchildren, and they certainly don’t get along.

What could be great bonding time turns into a nightmare when the weather takes a turn for the worst. The family is stranded in a cabin without electricity, and soon their pasts start to reveal themselves.

It’s one of those horror movies that is hit or miss. While critics loved it, rating it Certified Fresh, audiences weren’t so enamored. It all depends on what you like in horror.
