So, what makes it so great? How about the fact that it doesn’t follow many of the traditional horror rules. And the tropes that it uses are actually those it pokes fun at. The smoke, the zombies, and the bad decisions are all part of a bigger picture. Someone is controlling the environment around them. It adds a whole new layer to the story.

And the people who you think will make it out alive don’t. It’s a story of people making a choice not necessarily for the greater good but for their friends. You’ll want to see the ending to understand this.

Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, and Jesse Williams star as the five young adults who find themselves caught in this horror movie. You’ll also see the likes of Bradley Whitford, Amy Acker, and Tom Lenk show up. And with Joss Whedon behind the creation of the movie, you just know it’s going to be good.

Critics aren’t usually all that positive about horror movies, but that’s not the case for this one. It’s rated Certified Fresh with a 91% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
