Clemency coming to DVD and Blu-ray in March 2020

Clemency was one of the most under-appreciated movies of December 2019. But you can watch it soon on DVD and Blu-ray. Clemency is coming in March 2020.

Every now and then there’s an amazing movie that goes overlooked and underappreciated. Clemency is one of those movies. With its Dec. 27 release date, it came at a time of big blockbuster hits, which certainly didn’t help. However, you can make up for it by getting it on DVD and Blu-ray soon.

Want it on Digital and can’t wait for the Blu-ray combo pack? There isn’t a release date just yet, but it usually comes a week or two ahead of the DVD release. We’re looking at Mar. 10 or Mar. 17 probably, but it will definitely be on Digital by the time the DVD is released.

Clemency is a movie that leaves you thinking deeply and feeling every emotion under the sun. Alfre Woodard gives a performance of a lifetime (and shouldn’t have been overlooked at the Oscar nominations) as a warden who has carried out a number of death row executions in her time. With another execution coming up, Warden Bernadine Williams has a battle of head and heart through an ethical quandary.

The movie is Certifed Fresh, landing a 92% score from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The audience isn’t as positive about it, but it still lands a 67% score. This isn’t a movie just for entertainment, but to tell an important story in today’s world.
