When will Dolittle be on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?

Dolittle is currently in theaters, but you may want to watch it at home. When can you own Dolittle on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?

Dolittle is currently entertaining audiences in theaters. And yes, I saw audiences, because it is. It’s the critics that aren’t impressed. What else is new with this type of movie?

You may not want to head to the theaters to see it, though. Or you may have seen it and now want to watch it again in the comfort of your own home. Whichever reason, you want to know when Dolittle is on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray, right?

We don’t have an exact date for you just yet. Universal Pictures has only just released the movie in theaters, so a DVD release date isn’t on the company’s mind. However, we can look at previous Universal Pictures movies to get an idea of when we can expect the Dolittle DVD release date.

For this, we’ll look at Glass and Secret Life of Pets 2, both movies released in 2019. They took between two-and-a-half and three months to make it to DVD and Blu-ray. We can probably expect Dolittle to take the three months, so we’re looking at around Apr. 14 or Apr. 21 to head to DVD and Blu-ray.

What about the Robert Downey Jr. movie on Amazon Video? The digital copy is usually released a couple of weeks before the DVD copy, so we’re looking at the end of March or start of April for this.

The movie is another adaptation of the man who talks to animals. Downey Jr., hot off his role as Tony Stark in the Avengers franchise, plays the lead role and you’re certainly going to get some Sherlock Holmes vibes. It also stars Michael Sheen, Tom Holland (yep, Spider-Man is joining Iron Man again), Selena Gomez, Rami Malek, and many more well-known stars.

While critics are extremely unfair to the movie, audiences love it. Just look at Rotten Tomatoes to get an idea of whether this is one for you or not. Honestly, if you’re like me and regularly disagree with the critics, you’re going to love it! The kids will adore it too!
