The Good Liar coming to DVD and Blu-ray in February 2020

You’ll soon be able to own The Good Liar on DVD and Blu-ray. Here’s the release date, as well as your options to pre-order the movie.

If you’ve been waiting for the DVD release date of the Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen movie, The Good Liar, you’re in luck. The release is set for February.

You won’t be able to own the movie on DVD in time for Valentine’s Day, but it’s going to be the best treat afterward. The Good Liar will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray (and all other disc formats) on Feb. 18, 2020.

For those who would prefer to own it on digital, there is some bad news. The movie doesn’t have a set release date. Most of the time, the digital release is a week or two ahead of the DVD release, so you may be able to get it in time for your anti-Valentine’s Day celebrations. However, the latest it will be out on Amazon Video is Feb. 18, the same time as the DVD and Blu-ray.

Starring Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen, the movie is about a lifelong conman who finds his latest target in a rich widow. However, is this target going to be as easy to con as all the rest? Could it be that he’s falling for her after all? And what if there’s a deeper story at play and the woman isn’t the mark the conman believes her to be?

Reviews were mixed for the movie, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth it. In fact, while critics have scored it 65% on Rotten Tomatoes, audiences have been much more favorable, with it getting an 85% score.
