There is some great news, though. With Amazon Prime, you can grab HBO as one of the Amazon Channels. When the movie is released, you’ll be able to stream through your Amazon account with the help of Channels.

Great, so, when will 1917 be released? Don’t expect it any time soon. It can take eight to 12 months for the majority of movies to head to streaming. The earliest is six months. So the earliest we’re looking at is June 2020. It’s more likely that it will be August or September at the earliest.

This is a movie that will be more than worth the wait. It tells the story of two men who head out to prevent 1,600 soldiers from dying on the battlefield, one of whom is the brother of one of the two soldiers. It’s got an outstanding cast, the writing is on-point, and the cinematography is excellent.

Critics on Rotten Tomatoes have made this movie Certified Fresh, with a score of 91%. It’s certainly one to check out when you can.
