It’s always clear when it’s coming to Christmas just by looking at the most sold Amazon books for the week. It’s all about Children’s books as gifts.

You just have to take one look at the list of most sold Amazon books for Dec. 8 to 14 and you can tell Christmas is just around the corner. Parents are buying for their kids, with a number of children’s books entering or climbing the list.

Unsurprisingly, the latest Dog Man: Fetch-22 gained on the list from the previous week. It jumped six places to take over the No. 1 spot. This is likely just going to stay there for a week, maybe two, but it’s clear that the Dog Man series of books is highly popular among parents.

And it’s not the only children’s book at the top of the most sold Amazon books list. Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Wrecking Ball has climbed two places to take second place. In fifth place is Nathan W. Pyle’s Strange Planet while Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: The Illustrated Edition gained eight places to enter the Top 10 comfortably.

It’s not all about the children’s books, though. People are getting gifts for those close to them, with Where the Crawdads Sing climbing three places to get back into the Top 3. Alex Michaelides’ The Silent Patient reenters strong, and The Dutch House gains six places.
