Rocky is considered a classic. If you’ve never seen it before, or even if you have, it’s great to watch over Thanksgiving break with the whole family. It tells the iconic rags-to-riches story of Rocky Balboa, a nobody fighter who becomes a champion.

This is the role that made Sylvester Stallone a household name. The film spawned a massive franchise that still has legs even today. Plus, even though Rocky takes place over a long period of time and several holidays, its Thanksgiving scene is famous for a reason. You’ll have to watch the movie to find out why.

5. You’ve Got Mail (1998)

He owns a trendy chain of bookstores and moves in right across the street from Kathleen, further threatening her business. However, when the two strike up an anonymous online relationship, they eventually realize they’ve fallen for their rival.
