Did you just finish watching Charlie’s Angels at the cinema? Are you eager to go for round two? Find out when and if the film will stream on Amazon Prime!
This weekend the latest installment of the Charlie’s Angels franchise hits theaters. For the first time, the movie is directed by a woman with the hilarious Elizabeth Banks at the helm. The film stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and relative newcomer Ella Balinska. Sam Claflin, Patrick Stewart, and Noah Centineo also appear.
At the moment, critics are genuinely impressed with the fun, action-packed popcorn flick. Although if you were already a fan of the franchise and the versions starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu, you likely already anticipated this kind of reaction.
For those of you who thoroughly enjoyed watching the Angels kick butt on the big screen, you might be eager for round two. Will Charlie’s Angels eventually make its way to Amazon Prime Video? And if so, when might it become available?

Previous Columbia Pictures films such as Escape Room, Miss Bala, and A Dog’s Way Home have all moved to STARZ after premiering theatrically. Most likely, Charlie’s Angels will follow suit. The good news is, STARZ is one of many channels available to Prime users through Amazon Video Channels. You can subscribe to the service through your account and view the movie that way. But don’t expect it to become available anytime soon.
Movies can take anywhere from six to eight months to make the transition. Miss Bala only took six months, debuting in February and then arriving on STARZ in August, but A Dog’s Way Home took about eight months. Charlie’s Angels will likely appear on the streaming service sometime between May and July of next year.

The only potential hiccup may be Banks’ own production company — which co-produced Angels with Columbia — Brownstone. Some of their previous films like Pitch Perfect 3 and The Most Hated Woman in America have wound up on Netflix and Cinemax.
