Offerings are light on Amazon this weekend so now is a great time to take advantage of your downtime and catch up on all the great stuff released lately. Yesterday, Amazon released its first adult animated series with Undone. The series is being praised for its beautiful graphics, mind-bending storyline, and sheer ambition. It’s a must-watch, for sure.

And if you haven’t watched other Amazon originals like Carnival Row or The Boys, why not give them a chance now? Carnival Row is perfect for this time of year with Halloween getting closer and closer.

Steve Carrell plays the main role of Mark Hogancamp, a man who was savagely beaten by five men after expressing his passion for women’s shoes. The movie is based on a real story and inspired by the 2010 documentary about Mark Hogancamp titled Marwencol (the documentary is available to watch on Prime!).

As a way to cope with the trauma, Hogancamp creates a sanctuary in his home in the form of a miniature village called Marwen. He populates the village with several dolls, portrayed by the notable list of actresses starring in the movie alongside him.

A Dog’s Way Home (2019)

A Dog’s Way Home was originally a book based on a true story written by W. Bruce Cameron. The style of the 2019 film is not dissimilar to films like A Dog’s Journey or A Dog’s Purpose.

The movie follows the story of a dog named Bella (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard) who embarks on a long mission spanning 400 miles to reunite with her owners.
