When is Harriet on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?
Harriet, the story about Harriet Tubman, is now out in theaters. When will you be able to watch Harriet on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?
Harriet Tubman is one of the greatest women in history, but you won’t see her as part of major movies all that often. Focus Features has changed that with Harriet, the movie all about the woman who helped liberate hundreds of slaves through the underground railroad. It’s out in theaters right now.
Now that you’ve seen it in theaters, you likely want to make sure you get it on DVD or Blu-ray. Or maybe you’re looking at watching it for the first time in the comfort of your own home. Either way, you’ll want to know when Harriet will be on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray.

With this being a Focus Features movie, we’re looking at two to three months for it to come to DVD and Blu-ray. It took Mary, Queen of Scots about two months but BlackKklansman took the full three months to head to DVD and Blu-ray.
As for Digital, that often happens a little sooner. You could get Harriet on Amazon Video. The Digital copy is often released one to two weeks before the release of the DVD version. You can usually get the Blu-ray combo pack, which gives you the Blu-ray and Digital (and sometimes the DVD) making it a better value for money if you’re willing to wait.
It’s time to learn more about the underground railroad and the woman who has been overlooked for so many decades. This is a moving movie from start to finish.
The movie already holds a 72% score from critics and a 97% score from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
