When is BlacKkKlansman available on Amazon Prime digitally?

BlacKkKlansman will be available on digital release on Amazon Prime in October. Here’s the date you need to put in your diary.

BlacKkKlansman is the recent movie from Spike Lee that focuses on racism in the current day. Based on a true story, the movie is about the first Africa-American detective in the Colorado Springs Police Department in the 1970s.

It’s out on digital on Oct. 23, 2018. As you would expect, this is a man who has to prove himself. To do that, he decides to infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan.

Wait, what? A black man infiltrates the KKK? Just how?

It’s all about teamwork. Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) teams up with his white, seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver). When out of the outfit, Flip is the member. When under the hood, it’s all about Ron. Of course, Ron is also an advocate for equal rights, but he’s more than willing to share how much he hates his own race just to go undercover.

Throughout the movie, the two detectives go through a range of trials and tribulations. One of those involves the Jewish Flip to take a lie detector test with the KKK to prove that he’s not Jewish. Interesting.

For the most part, this is a look at the real KKK; the horrors and fanatical nature of the group in the 1970s. Burning crosses, firing ranges, and meetings about cleansing are all part of the course.

The downside to the release next month is that it’s only to rent or buy right now. You’ll need your Prime membership and it will be added to your library. Hopefully, it will be added to Prime Video for free in the near future.
