No new books were added to the list of most read Amazon books last week, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t any change to the listings.

Most weeks, there are one or two books that are added to the list of most read Amazon books. That wasn’t the case last week. However, that doesn’t mean there was no change to the list.

Between Oct. 13 and 19, there was plenty of movement within the list. While Stephen King’s The Institute held the top spot, Where the Crawdads Sing dropped down a spot thanks to a book that has been on the list for more than 100 weeks. One of the Harry Potter books made its way back into second place.

More from Amazon Books

In fact, all but three of the Harry Potter books moved up the list. Two of those three remained steady, while one lost a place. You’ll get to see the exact movement below.

The largest movement came from Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments. It dropped three places on the list only just holding onto the Top 10. Meanwhile, the first book in the series held steady in 11th place on the list.

Other bigger moves were IT and The Silent Patient, which both lost two places. They’re now just holding onto the last two places on the list, which could see some movement this week that knocks them both out.
