The Addams Family is back in animated form. There are chances that you’re looking to watch the movie on streaming when it comes out. Will The Addams Family be on Amazon Prime Video with your Prime membership?

There’s some great news. Whether you’re just worried about wasting money in the theaters or you just know you want to watch it over and over again, The Addams Family is an MGM movie. That means it’s going to make its way to Prime Video.

So, when will that be? We need to look at other MGM movies, such as Death Wish, to make an educated guess. Most MGM movies take a year from theatrical release to being available on the streamer, so that means we’re looking at October next year when you’ll be able to watch the movie on Prime Video.

You’ll be able to own it on DVD and Blu-ray before then. That we estimate to be available in January 2020. It will also be available to purchase on Amazon Video around the same time.

The Addams Family is the most recent reboot. The horror family you adore is coming back in animated form, with Charlize Theron, Oscar Isaac, and many more high-profile stars voicing the characters. When the family move to New Jersey, you’d think they’d stand a chance of fitting in, right? Of course, that’s not the case when their strange house on the hill makes it harder for one real estate agent to sell other houses in the neighborhood.

This is one of those movies that has critics and audiences divided. Critics hate it, giving it a 39% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Meanwhile, audiences love it, giving it a 70% approval rating.
