The Top 5 on the list of most read Amazon books last week remains the same. Here’s a look at the full Top 20, including The Institute and more.

It’s a new week of most read Amazon books. Stephen King continues to hold onto the top spot on the list, with the full Top 5 seeing no movement at all. In fact, most of the Top 10 has remained steady. Here’s a look at the most read books between Sept. 29 and Oct. 5.

After a year on the list, Where the Crawdads Sing remains in second place after being knocked down last week. It’s not all that surprising The Institute by King has held onto that top spot. The book has already gained a TV option, with eyes just on who will pick up the full rights.

More from Amazon Books

All Harry Potter books remain on the list, with only one not in the Top 10. Prisoner of Azkaban jumped up two spots to get back into the Top 10, moving into ninth place. That did mean The Handmaid’s Tale and The Goldfinch both dropped a place each, knocking the latter out of the Top 10.

There were two new books on the list this week. Lethal Agent by Vince Flynn and Kyle Mills took over the 16th spot. Will Wight’s Uncrowned made it into the 20th spot on the list.

When it comes to the big movers, only City of Girls saw a big jump. It dropped four places, moving into 19th place after 16 weeks on the list.
