How to watch Young Sheldon, Mom, and more on CBS through Amazon Prime
The CBS Thursday night comedy block is back. It kicks off with Young Sheldon and ends with new comedy Carol’s Second Act. Here’s how to watch with Amazon.
Thursday’s comedy block is back but it’s going to feel very different. The Big Bang Theory no longer kicks off the night. Young Sheldon will take that honor, with The Unicorn, Mom, and Carol’s Second Act following. Despite no TBBT, you’ll still want to watch the CBS comedy block live and you can do that with Amazon Prime.
CBS offers live viewing on CBS All Access, its subscription service. You can get it as an add-on through Amazon Channels. All you need is an Amazon Prime account first, and you’ll be able to grab CBS All Access with a 7-day free trial.

Everything kicks off with Young Sheldon at 8 p.m. The Season 3 premiere kicks off with Dr. Sturgis suffering from a nervous breakdown. Considering Sheldon’s similarities to the professor, Mary Cooper worries about her son’s mental health. At the same time, Georgie finds that he has the ability to sell.
Following on from The Big Bang Theory spin-off, we get the first new comedy of the night, The Unicorn. A group of friends help a widower move forward after the hardest year of his life, which includes raising his daughters as a single parent. Now it’s time to tackle the world of dating again.
Mom keeps its 9 p.m. timeslot, as the seventh season premieres. Christy makes some changes at the bar while Bonnie and Adam head on their honeymoon. Just how questionable are these changes?
The last of the comedy block for CBS is Carol’s Second Act. It’s a little like The Rookie but in the medical setting and with more comedy than drama. Carol is eager to start her first day at work, but there’s a problem. The need to help her patient leads to her disregarding direct orders. Is this really the right “second act” for her?
Make sure you grab your CBS All Access subscription to check out all four comedies tonight. Remember that all episodes are available on CBS All Access the following day, too.
