Between Sept. 1 and 7, there was plenty of movement on the list of most sold Amazon books. When We Believed in Mermaids saw the highest climb. Here’s a look at the list.

It’s time for another look at the weekly top sold Amazon books. While Where the Crawdads Sing didn’t shift from its top spot yet again, there was plenty of movement elsewhere on the list. The highest climb was When We Believed in Mermaids, but what about the rest of the list?

Barbara O’Neal’s book is certainly worth the mention, moving up eight spots during its second week on the list. It narrowly missed out on the top 10, but it’s still a good move.

More from Amazon Books

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides moved back into the Top 10 this week, with The Empty Nesters by Carolyn Brown moving up two more spots. Meanwhile, Gregg Olsen’s Lying Next to Me continued to impress, moving into second place.

Meanwhile, four books made their entries onto the list. One of those was Lee Child’s newest Jack Reacher book, Bad Luck and Trouble. The most successful new entry was A Better Man by Louise Penny, which entered in third place and was on last week’s list of most read Amazon books, too.

As usual, there were some books that dropped down on the list. L.J. Shen’s Broken Knight dropped out of second place and was down four spots. That wasn’t the largest drop, though. Claire McGowan’s What You Did dropped six places and Isla Madden-Mills’ I Hate You lost 13 places.
