We’d be amiss if we didn’t include Late Night. It is the only Amazon Original movie on Prime Video during the month of September and certainly more than worth the watch! Starring (and written by) Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson, this is a movie loosely based on Kaling’s experience as the only female writer in The Office‘s writer’s room. It’s also a feel-good movie of two women from different generations with a lot in common.
For those who do need something with the kids, Rango is the one to check out this month. The lead character is voiced by Johnny Depp, and the movie takes us through the life of a gecko as he loses the only home he’s ever known and has to figure out life in a new town, where he inadvertently becomes the sheriff.
If you like a bit of horror, Cloverfield is on the list for this month. Then there’s Legally Blonde for those who love Reese Witherspoon. Finally, Platoon and You’ve Got Mail makes it to the list of best movies on Amazon Prime Video this month.
