Creepshow, Hell House LLC, and more coming to Shudder in September 2019

Creepshow is finally coming to Shudder this September! Find out what other spooky new films will be arriving on the channel next month right here.

Fall may not begin for a few more weeks but Shudder is kicking off the pre-Halloween celebration early with the delivery of upcoming anthology series, Creepshow and four new exclusive titles! That means you get one new Shudder film every week of September which is pretty exciting if you ask me.

We’ve got the scoop on everything brand new coming to Shudder in September. If you don’t have the Shudder Channel add-on, now is a great time to purchase it!

Creepshow

The series comes from Greg Nicotero and is inspired by the 1982 film written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero! The series will consist of six episodes. It debuts on Sept. 26 and will continue airing all the way through Halloween.

There are two stories featured per episode. The first segment is adapted from a Stephen King story. It’s titled, “Gray Matter,” and revolves around two old-timers in a dying town that brave a storm to help out a young boy at the local convenience store. Giancarlo Esposito, Tobin Bell, and Adrienne Barbeau star.

Part two is a story called “The House of the Head,” written by Josh Malerman (the man who wrote Bird Box). A young girl named Evie discovers her dollhouse may be haunted.

Shudder Exclusive titles

Thus far, Shudder has only announced two of their exclusives. Two more will be announced soon and are set to premiere on Sept. 12 and Sept. 24!

The Wrath (2018)

  • Available: Sept. 5

The Wrath is a remake of the iconic 1986 film. In 14th-century Korea, a deadly curse is killing off the sons of the kingdom’s high-ranking official. The final son dies and leaves behind a pregnant widow who is forced to fend off an evil spirit.

Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire (2019)

  • Director: Stephen Cognetti
  • Cast: Gabriel Chytry, Elizabeth Vermilyea, Sam Kazzi
  • Available: Sept. 19

This popular found-footage series returns with its third film. You can watch the first two movies on the streaming service as well! But the third Hell House follows the aftermath of tragedy on the opening night of Hell House LLC that took place eight years prior. Now a journalist named Jessica Fox is convinced there are secrets hidden inside Abaddon Hotel and is determined to find out the disturbing truth.
