AMC’s horror series NOS4A2 coming to Shudder in August 2019

AMC’s spooky vampire series, NOS4A2, starring Zachary Quinto, will make its Shudder debut beginning next month, August 2019.

NOS4A2 is the latest vampire horror series on television. The show is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Joe Hill. It stars Zachary Quinto as the evil immortal being, Charlie Manx.

This show is not your ordinary vampire saga. Quinto plays the antagonistic Manx, but the main focus of NOS4A2 is on Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings). She has a supernatural ability to locate lost things.

Her gift puts her in the sights of Charlie Manx, who regularly kidnaps children to feed on and maintain his youthful appearance. He takes all the children he captures to a mysterious place known as Christmasland. Vic must do whatever it takes to defeat Manx once and for all before it’s too late.

If you’ve been eager to watch NOS4A2 but don’t have access to AMC, then you’re in luck. NOS4A2 is coming to Shudder and will be available to Prime members through Amazon Channels.

The series will debut Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, on Shudder in the US and in Canada. With Amazon Channels, you can sign up for a Shudder subscription for only $2.49/month for three months and $4.99/month thereafter until July 28, 2019. After that, it’s $4.99 per month.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to binge NOS4A2 all at once. Episodes will debut Thursdays every week until the end of the first season’s 10-episode run. “Showrunner Jami O’Brien and her cast have done an amazing job bringing Joe Hill’s gripping novel to life,” says Shudder GM, Craig Engler.

In addition to Cummings and Quinto, NOS4A2 also stars Olafur Darri Olafsson, Virginia Kull, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Jhakara Smith. Joe Hill, the author of NOS4A2, will also contribute to another Shudder original series, Creepshow, which is set to premiere later this year.
