If you’re looking to own the latest season of NCIS on DVD, it’s almost time! NCIS Season 16 will be out on DVD in September and here are the details.

Fans of NCIS will want to know when the latest season is available on DVD. That time is very soon. You’ll be able to own it in time to catch up with the story before the release of Season 17.

NCIS: The Sixteenth Season is available to own on DVD from Sept. 3. It’s a little later than its spin-off, NCIS: New Orleans Season 5, but at least there’s still time to play catch-up before the newest season is released.

NCIS Season 16 is the first season without forensic genius Abby Sciuto. While she was certainly missed, I did feel like Kasie did an excellent job taking on the role. Diona Reasonover brought a flare to this very different character, and it was great to see her interacting with every member of the team so well.

This season did see a reduced appearance from David McCallum, which we’d known about going into the season. The actor is taking time with his family but is still part of the show’s family. Ducky was a missed presence, but it made his episodes all the more special. I also love Jimmy, which certainly helps to fill that void.

The timing is great for those who need to catch up on the storyline. Honestly, it’s the last episode or two that you’ll really need to watch to get ready for NCIS Season 17 for that shock return at the very end of the season.
