Now streaming: Friday the 13th movies are now on Amazon Prime Video

All the Friday the 13th movies from the original through Jason Takes Manhattan are now available to stream free with your Amazon Prime membership.
We’re reaching the summer months and as a celebration, Amazon has made the first seen films from the Friday the 13th franchise available to stream for free with your Amazon Prime membership!
The series is one of the most iconic slasher franchises of all time. When you think about the original horror icons, Michael Meyers, Jason Voorhees, and Freddy Kreuger typically come to mind. Friday the 13th introduced us to Jason Voorhees, a man who terrorized campers at Camp Crystal Lake for years.

Of course, real fans know that in the first movie, it was actually Jason’s mother doing the killing. Mrs. Voorhees went after the counselors and campers because she blames them for letting her son, Jason, die by drowning years prior.
But Jason never really seems to die! Hence why he has been the star of twelve films in total along with making appearances in tons of movie merchandise, comics, novels, and video games.
There are even rumors floating around that a 13th, Friday the 13th movie could be made. It certainly seems fitting. But for right now, you can enjoy the glory of the ’80s films in the comfort of your home as an excellent way to kickstart the long summer months!
Unfortunately, Amazon doesn’t have the F13 movies from the ’90s available, nor the 2009 remake, but seven movies are a great starting point. You can always rent the others through Amazon Video afterward!
