On tonight: Watch Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 2 live
Game of Thrones Season 8 is wasting no time in getting to one of the battles and to Jaime’s trial. Here’s how to watch Season 8, Episode 2 tonight.
Game of Thrones Season 8’s premiere may have been about the reunions, but they’re mostly done with. Now it’s time for Episode 2, which brings Jaime’s trial and the beginnings of the Battle of Winterfell. Here’s how to watch the episode live.
The trailer is certainly fully of some interesting tidbits. Daenerys isn’t in the habit of showing mercy but this time, she may want to. Jaime has come to Winterfell to help in the fight against the Night King. It’s all hands on deck. At least, it should be.

The problem is that Dany, Sansa, and so many others are still focused on the small picture. They’re not concerned about the war against the dead. But Jon Snow is.
Tormund and the others get to Winterfell before the Night’s King to deliver the message that House Umber has fallen. Now it’s time to get everything in order to protect Winterfell and prevent everyone else from dying. Will they all be able to work together?
To be honest, though, Dany doesn’t say that she believes her father’s killer should have tortured and killed. She’s talking about what her brother said and Viserys certainly had some questionable views. Dany never met her father and she learned the real tales from Ser Barristan. Maybe this will all help to keep Jaime alive. For now…
The trailer has some intriguing moments, though. Arya is holding a bow and says how she’s looking forward to seeing a particular face of death. Will that face be Jaime’s? Will she kill him before the Night King arrives?
