The Addams Family offers a chance to see what real family and real love is all about. Despite their fascination with death and ghosts, they have one thing that we can all learn from; acceptance. They don’t care what others are like. Those who show acceptance of them are welcomed into the family.
And those who are different? Well, they immediately become part of the fold. They love and support each other. Family means the world to each of them, and Gomez certainly shows how women deserve to be treated!
It’s the 1991 version of the family that has made it to the list in April. Christopher Lloyd plays a man who pretends to be Gomez’s long lost brother, Fester Addams. However, eventually, he gets lost in the lie, forming a bond with the family that he didn’t think possible.
By the time Gomez realizes that his brother isn’t actually his brother, it’s too late. Fester has managed to get the whole family evicted from the mansion. Can Gomez and the rest of the family fix the problem?
Raul Julia, Anjelica Hudson, Christina Ricci, and Jimmy Workman play the iconic roles of Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, and Pugsley Addams. While it may only have a 66% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, this is a classic that everyone should watch at least once.
