Shadow is on the road to Cairo in American Gods Season 2, Episode 3. He’s getting a ride from Sam Black Crow, as he searches for more information about who he is and what’s going on in the world. However, Mr. World is on his back, looking for him to pull him in.

Meanwhile, Mr. Wednesday needs to forge an alliance with another Old God. He needs Laura Moon to be able to do that, which means Mad Sweeny will also be coming along for the ride. After all, he’s waiting for that lucky coin — at least, that’s the excuse he’s using. Considering he put the coin back in Laura’s body, it’s clear that he has some affection for her.

And then there’s the search for Media. With Gillian Anderson’s departure, the use of the character had to develop a little more creatively. Fortunately, she routinely changed her look and that could mean a change of face. However, the writers opted for a more artistic way of keeping the character in, sending messages through automated voices and words.

Those who are in the United States can watch the new episode today on STARZ. It’s already available on the STARZ app and will be on the cable channel tonight. Outside of the U.S., tune into your Prime membership at midnight for the latest episode.
