Fam Season 1 isn’t airing a new episode tonight. Why isn’t it on and when is your guilty-pleasure comedy going to be back?

It’s Thursday night and you want to tune into CBS for comedy night. The Big Bang Theory isn’t on tonight and neither is Fam. That’s right. Your guilty pleasure comedy is taking a night off.

And it’s not just one night. It’ll take next Thursday off, too. Why is it getting a break?

The good news is that there’s no reason to worry. CBS hasn’t canceled the series for any reason. It’s all about sport. CBS is airing some of the March Madness games, so that means the next two Thursdays and Fridays will see a temporary change to the schedule.

Fam returns with an all-new episode on Apr. 4 with an episode titled “Say Mess to the Dress.” That dress happens to be the wedding dress. Rose wants Clem to wear her old wedding dress. Despite Clem being honored — not many brides have a future mother-in-law who is loving, kind, and accepting — she doesn’t think the style will suit her. There are photos of Clem in the wedding dress and it doesn’t quite fit her slimmer figure.

Meanwhile, Nick decides he needs to prove that he’s fitter than he is. Ben encourages him to join a spin class and you know that means plenty of drama, comical insults, and over exaggerations.

Oh, and we can’t forget the dog that Shannon seems to bring home. What’s the betting that it’s the dog that causes a “mess” on the “dress.”

We’ll have to wait two weeks for this episode. Until then, make sure you check out Fam on CBS All Access. You can get all the recent episodes and they’re certainly worth it.
