The Season 3 premiere will pick up where the second season left off. Right now, Diane Lockhart is in danger of being indicted, possibly named as co-conspirator to assassinate the president. That’s not all that surprising considering how much she hates Trump, but that doesn’t mean it’s right!
Diane thinks she’s off the hook after getting Adrian to leak “fake news” of affairs, but we all know that it won’t be that easy, right? There’s still a high chance she’ll be indicted.
One thing is for certain, the show will remain timely. The episode titles refer to the amount of time Trump has been in office so includes the events going on in the news. Considering this season was filmed over the last year, expect the runup to recent scandals and court cases.
However, this season, the titles are a little different. This one is “The One About the Recent Troubles,” taking on a Friends style of titling. It’s likely linked to everything that has happened up to date.
