Survivor: Edge of Extinction will introduce the new castaways, along with the four returning members. Look out for Worlds Apart/Second Chance‘s Joe Anglim, Kaoh Rong/Game Changers‘ Aubry Bracco, San Juan del Sur/Second Chance‘s Kelley Wentworth, and Millennials vs. Gen-X‘s David Wright.

The name of this season’s show is all about the new island, which is called “Edge of Extinction.” It’s an island that will put each of the contestants to the test to see if they have what it takes to become the Sole Survivor. Those who do manage to endure the physical and emotional challenges thrown at them on the island will be in it to win $1m.

When does the island come into play? It’s all about after being voted out. Instead of being sent straight home, they get the chance to head to the “Edge of Extinction” and they could end up back in the game.
