3 best moments in Fam Season 1, Episode 6

Fam returned with an all-new episode and a sisterly prank. Here are the best three moments from the episode.

Fam Season 1, Episode 6 was certainly packed with plenty of laughs. The all-new episode gave us some sisterly pranks, lessons in parenting, and incorrect conclusions. Oh, and apparently, you can use Cola to make a pregnancy test positive.

While there were certainly plenty of great moments, I’m going to pick out the best three from the night. And they’re not all about just humor.

3. Shannon’s prank

Okay, I’ve got to touch on the storyline of the night. Shannon decided to get her own back on Clem for invading her privacy. And it certainly worked.

By the way, Clem going through Shannon’s room certainly brings back memories before I house-trained my husband! His wasn’t tubs of food but gym bags of muddy, moldy rugby kit.

Anyway, Shannon manages to use Cola to make a pregnancy test positive, which Clem finds. Of course, Clem doesn’t want her sister knowing she snooped but it was always bound to come out. The episode continues to show how much Shannon knows her sister already but also shows that she is street smart. That counts for something.

2. Nick getting the wrong idea

Clem leaves the pregnancy test on the kitchen counter, which leads to Nick finding it. Despite there being two women in the apartment, he immediately jumps to the idea that Clem is the one pregnant — and the scene as Clem tells Nick she doesn’t know who the father is really is priceless.

But what I really loved about the misunderstanding was the way Nick reacted. He was calm but also scared. I love that he turned straight to his parents for advice and support. Rather than hide it from them, he chose to lean on them when he wasn’t sure how to feel — or sure how Clem felt.

Okay, really, he should have talked to Clem first, but he needed to work out his own thoughts. He wanted to be supportive and that showed how caring he is.

1. Telling Nick’s parents the truth

Once it all came out that Clem nor Shannon was pregnant, I wondered if the show was going to overlook something: telling Nick’s parents the truth. I worried they would but the writers went back to it for the final scene.

And yes, Nick’s mom reacted just the way I expected. She was disappointed that it was all a false alarm. At least, Nick and Clem know that they have two on their side when they do have kids. And there’s plenty of baby stuff already.
