As for High Maintenance Season 3, The Guy has decided to take some time out from the city. The show’s main drug dealer is getting behind the wheels and heading out of New York. It’s going to be a risk but one worth taking. It means more scenery, more rainbow-tinted lights, and more time with The Guy.

When he learns of some bad news, he’ll need to decide what to do next. It’s possible that we’ll start seeing him taking the marijuana dealing more seriously, trying to become the next main dealer everyone turns to.

While there are some risks with the storylines, HBO is also taking a risk with the scheduling. We’ve spent two seasons watching it on Fridays and now it’s moving to Sundays, a higher profile night. Something similar worked out for Outlander when it jumped from Saturdays for Season 2 to Sundays for Season 3 on STARZ, so will this workout for High Maintenance?
