A Prime membership is needed first, and that’s available for $12.99 per month or $120 per year if you pay annually. Right now, only the four Amazon Channels are available on discount, but you can still add plenty more. HBO, BritBox, AcornTV, and CBS All Access are among the list of subscriptions available.
The subscriptions work like they would directly, but you get to pay for it all in one monthly payment. You’ll still get full access to the likes of CBS live through All Access and you can watch all the latest offerings from STARZ and HBO, including Outlander now and Game of Thrones Season 8 when it premieres in April.
The discounted and usual costs for the four specific Channels are:
- Showtime: $6.59 per month (originally $10.99)
- Starz: $5.39 per month (originally $8.99)
- PBS Masterpiece: $3.59 per month (originally $5.99)
- Lifetime Movie Club: $2.39 per month (originally $3.99)
There’s no need to keep the memberships for a set amount of time. These are like Amazon Prime, where you get to cancel and renew at times that suit you. But you will need to keep the discounted ones running for three months if you want all three months at the 40% discount. You can’t cancel after a month and get the other two months at the discounted rate later.
You’ve got until Jan. 17 to act on this Amazon Channels deal. It’s available to new subscribers only.
