NCIS Season 16, Episode 12 synopsis

"An old family friend pleads with Gibbs to join him on a road trip to search for a missing military ID bracelet; a Navy lieutenant in NCIS protective custody is poisoned by an infamous drug dealer."

Now let’s be honest here. Gibbs doesn’t have that many friends compared to the average person so you would think we would have met them all by now throughout the 16 seasons of NCIS. But, this is a new friend we will be meeting tonight.

Army Corporal John Sydney is his name and he played by actor Dabney Coleman. This is the first time Coleman has appeared on NCIS. The actor has been acting since the early 60s and he can be described as a man who has done it all when it comes to the acting world, with credits such as Wargames, Stuart Little, and You’ve Got Mail.

Turning our attention back to the synopsis and the Navy lieutenant in protective custody. There isn’t much detail going around to sink our teeth into, although the promo and sneak peek might shed some light on this one. Speaking of which…
