Canada’s most popular sitcom, Corner Gas, is coming to Amazon Prime Video everywhere. That is, everywhere except in Canada.

Corner Gas is making its way to Amazon Prime Video. The streaming service will get Canada’s most popular sitcom everywhere except for in one place: Canada.

It seems ironic, but that’s because the Canadians are getting all six seasons of the 2004 sitcom through Crave TV, according to The Hollywood ReporterCorner Gas was originally a Bell Media production that aired on CTV and the Canadian streaming service Crave is owned by Bell Media.

It makes sense that the show is heading there. That’s especially the case with the show airing reruns on CTV, CTV 2, and other Bell Media networks.

Elsewhere, all 107 episodes and the 90-minute special will stream on Amazon Prime Video. Old fans and new will be able to watch the sitcom, which saw a record-breaking 3.02 million Canadians watch the series finale on Apr. 13, 2009.

Corner Gas has been a show that people around the world have wanted to see on a streaming service. Amazon has been the one to snap it up outside of Canada, making it one of a few Canadian comedies that has managed to break the U.S. market. Brent Butt created the series based on what life could have been like in the quiet town had he not made it in standup comedy.

Based in Dog River, a sleep Saskatchewan town in the back of nowhere, the residents are perfectly happy with the way things are. Brent, who has the only gas station in town attacked to the only coffee shop in town, is one of the lead characters of the series. Meanwhile, Officers Davis and Karen spend their time prowling the prairie town.

While based in Canada, the show isn’t necessarily about the county. This is more about small-town living, which is likely why it made it so big across the globe, especially in the States. It’s one of those shows that everyone can relate to.

Corner Gas Animated isn’t coming to the service yet but could do in the future. Right now, there’s no date for when Corner Gas will make it to Amazon Prime Video (or Crave).
