If you’re looking for a new horror movie to watch when the kids go to bed early, Amazon Prime Video has a new offering for you. The Strangers: Prey at Night is now available.
When it comes to horror movies, there aren’t many that leave you scared to answer the front door. The Strangers was certainly one that did. Now you can be scared all over again with The Strangers: Prey at Night now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
There’s always one line that stands out from the original movie. “Because you were home,” one of the strangers answers when asked why they’re “doing this.” It certainly makes you question answering your door to anyone–and I don’t think I’m the only one who checks the peephole before opening the door.

The Strangers: Prey at Night has a very similar moment. As Kinsey asks “why are you doing this,” one of the strangers answers “why not.” It’s that creepy moment when you realize some people aren’t killing for revenge, but they’re doing it for revenge.
For those who haven’t seen the movie, I’ll avoid all other spoilers–that’s just one that mimics the original movie well but uniquely. While the movie received mixed reviews, if you loved the psychological play that the first one offered, then you’ll certainly enjoy this take. There are more people and more settings to explore, as it takes place in a trailer park instead of a cabin in the middle of nowhere.
