Looking for something to watch this weekend? Amazon Prime has your back, with the help of Prime Video and Amazon Channels.

If you’re struggling to fill your weekend TV viewing this late into the summer, Amazon Prime has you covered. Thanks to Prime Video and Amazon Channels, there are plenty of options for today and tomorrow. Some of those include DisobedienceMother! and the Sharp Objects finale.

Most of these you can get with the standard Amazon Prime service. There are others you’ll need the Amazon Channels add-on subscriptions.

That’s the case with this first one.

The HBO limited series is coming to an end. Amy Adams has already confirmed that she’s not coming back to do a second season due to the weight of this character. Based on a novel of the same name, many fans will likely be relieved. Not many shows manage to go beyond the books and succeed.

The episode is titled “Milk” and is directed by Jean-Marc Vallee. Showrunner Marti Noxon and novel author Gillian Flynn have written the episode that sees Adams’ Camille get closer to figuring out the mystery behind the Wind Gap kidnappings.

You can watch the Sharp Objects finale with the HBO Amazon Channels addition on Sunday.

If you’re a Power fan, there’s a new episode of the fifth season on STARZ on Sunday night. Episode 8, titled “A Friend of the Family,” will air at 8/7c and you’ll be able to watch live. It will also be available on the STARZ App, which is something that you gain with the Amazon Channels subscription.

Here’s the synopsis for the episode from STARZ:

"The AUSA turns up the heat on Ghost and implicates his inner circle in on a RICO. Ghost and Tommy plan to frame Dre for the murder of Raymond Jones, Raina’s killer, while Angela and Tasha enact a plan of their own."

Saturday viewings for free

If you don’t want to spend extra for the HBO service and have already used the 7-day free trial for the service, then you’ll want something already on Amazon Prime Video. This is where the rest of the viewing options come into play.

Disobedience drops on Saturday, which stars Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams. It’s a story of a woman returning back to her Orthodox Jewish family after the death of her estranged family. After years of living in New York and completely disowned by them, she is pulled back into the strict ways.

What she soon finds is that her attraction for her childhood best friend hasn’t gone. The problem for the community is her best friend is a woman and the two together was the reason this woman was banished years ago. What will happen now the two find each other again?

The Escape of Prisoner 614 is the second movie released this weekend. We’re taken to the past with Sons of Anarchy‘s Ron Perlman playing the role of a sheriff. When he fires his two deputies, the deputies get a call about a prisoner who has escaped. This prisoner was found guilty of murdering a cop, so they head out to find him to get their jobs back.

Of course, along the way, they start to get the idea that the guy may not have killed the cop. This prisoner is black in an area that is clearly prejudice.

Finally, Saturday brings Woman Walks Ahead, another period piece that tells the story of a woman heading to the midwest. All she wanted was to paint a portrait of the local tribe member Stirling Bull. What really happens is that she gets pulled into the history of the tribe and the fight to keep the land in their possession.

Sunday’s offering on Amazon Prime

On Sunday, apart from HBO’s Sharp Objects finale, it’s all about the horror movie from last year, Mother! The Jennifer Lawrence movie is finally coming to Prime Video and you can see what all the hype is about–or more like the questionable.

Mother! is one of those movies where the characters don’t have names at all. They’re known by their titles “Mother,” “Him,” “Woman,” etc. That all makes sense once you get to the end. Well, sort of!
