On Tuesday, August 21, you’ll get your hands on two new additions. The first is the 2016 Canadian documentary Ambassadors of the Sky. Astrophotographers and astronomers take to Alberts and British Columbia to celebrate the stars, comets, and more in the night sky through their photography and observations.

The second release is the 2014 movie Two of a Kind. When two criminals start to argue over a poker game, the stakes begin to rise. Of course, when that happens, consequences and danger start to rise too.

On Thursday, you’ll get the fourth and last episode of America Divided Season 2. Jussie Smollett is the correspondent for the episode, traveling to Tennessee to see the growing movement to pull down the Confederate monuments in the area. Titled “Whose History?” the episode takes viewers through the continued racial tensions of the South.

Saturday sees the release of three, one of those is a stark British movie that tells the tale of sexuality, religion, and oppression. Disobedience tells the story of a photographer who returns to her London home after the death of her estranged father. She’s pulled back into the community that shunned her years ago for her attraction to a female friend. That female friend is now married to a man but still harbors the same feelings.

The 2017 movie Woman Walks Ahead is the second release on Amazon Prime Video next week. Based on a true story, Jessica Chastain stars as a headstrong New York painter who travels to the Midwest to talk to an Indian chief. She finds more than that, as the war between races brews.

The Escape of Prisoner 614 is the last movie, a dark period comedy starring Ron Pearlman, Martin Starr, and Jake McDorman. When a prisoner escapes, two recently fired deputies are tasked to get him back. Along the way, they realize that maybe the prisoner is an innocent man, arrested and convicted just based on his race.

While they quickly find him, it’s not as easy to get him back to the prison. The more they come to accept that he may be innocent after all, the more they question everything.

Finally, Sunday will see the drop of Mother! on Amazon Prime Video. The 2017 movie starring Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Pfieffer certainly had mixed reviews and the trailer will leave you with shivers down your spine. If you haven’t seen the thriller, you now have the chance to check it out.

It certainly is a twisted and odd psychological thriller. The trailer doesn’t quite live up to the movie–or maybe that is the movie doesn’t live up to the trailer’s expectations? But you’ll need to watch it to see it all play out.
