5. The Man in the High Castle’s Pilot was watched more than any other Pilot on Amazon Video
Unlike any of the other streaming services that create new content, specifically Netflix, Hulu, and, I guess, HBO, with HBO Now, Amazon is the only one that releases its pilots to the public and lets the public watch the pilot episodes!
The Man in the High Castle was watched more times than any other Amazon pilot so far. That’s fairly impressive considering Amazon already has produced several solid shows and, of course, one of the best shows of the year, Transparent.
If those numbers are any indication, The Man in the High Castle could be Amazon’s biggest show.
While numbers aren’t everything with a series, it’s definitely a good step in the right direction for Amazon, who has obviously invested a ton of money into the series and wants it to be very successful.
