Along with Alpha House, Betas premiered during Amazon Studio’s initial push for original programming. And similarly to its companion in testing Amazon’s waters, Betas didn’t live a long life as far as comedy series go. Still, the series delivered an original premise.

Trey (Joe Dinicol), Nash (Karan Soni), Hobbes (Jon Daly), and Mitchell (Charlie Saxton) are a group of computer whizzes who have created the next big, revolutionary dating and social networking app this side of Tinder and Facebook. To make their way in the tech startup world, they need an investor with deep pockets, and they’ll do whatever it takes to make it.

If you’re a fan of HBO’s Silicon Valley, then you’ll definitely want to remain in the technology capital of California for the 11 episodes of Amazon’s Betas.
