Families everywhere have waited patiently for Wish to come to DVD and Blu-ray. That wait is almost over, with the DVD release date now confirmed.

This is another inclusive and beautiful story of a Disney princess. Asha makes a powerful wish that could help her save her kingdom from the evil King Magnifico. It’s a great story about believing in oneself, but also being careful what you wish for.

Of course, children everywhere have wanted to watch it over and over again. There’s no doubt that this belongs on your shelves with Moana and Frozen. So, when can you add it to your collection, and can you pre-order?

When is Wish on DVD and Blu-ray?

There isn’t much longer left to wait. Disney has set the DVD release date for Wish as Tuesday, March 12. This is a little later than we predicted, making it look like Disney is after a 90-day exclusivity window for theaters again. We did wonder this when offering the predicted date.

You can pre-order the movie on Amazon right now. This is the best way to land the lowest price up to the release date as Amazon has a price guarantee for all pre-orders.

Do you want to get it sooner? The Disney movie is now available to buy or rent on Digital. Of course, if you’re going to get the movie on DVD anyway, you’ll want to hold off on getting the Digital. The DVD and Blu-ray packs always come as a combo pack so you get a digital code for the movie as well. Why not get two versions for the price of one?

It will head to Disney+ in the future, but not for another few months at least. If you want to watch it sooner rather than later, the DVD release is for you.
