When could Wish come to DVD and Blu-ray?

Wish is the latest Disney movie to hit theaters, and you’ll need to add it to your DVD collection afterward. When will that be possible?

Are you looking for something to watch with the kids over Thanksgiving weekend? There is some great news as Disney has us all covered. It’s all about Wish, which focuses on Asha, who needs to find a way to save her kingdom from the evil King Magnifico.

The movie is sure to be one that the kids want to watch over and over again. It’s a Disney animated movie after all. The question is now all about when you’ll be able to add it to your DVD collection. Yes, it will go to Disney+, but you want to add it to your DVD collection, right? The good news is that it shouldn’t take too long.

Wish DVD release date prediction

The movie doesn’t have a DVD release date just yet. That’s not too surprising when you consider that it is only just out in theaters. So, we’re looking at when it could arrive on DVD, and we’re looking at Elemental and Haunted Mansion to give us an idea. While The Little Mermaid was a 2023 Disney release, that one took a while to head to DVD due to the success in theaters.

It took a little more than three months for Elemental to head to DVD, while Haunted Mansion took just less than three months. There’s a good chance that we’re looking at around three months for Wish.

That would suggest that we’re looking at around Tuesday, Feb. 20 or Tuesday, Feb. 27 for the DVD release. That’s a reasonable wait, and it suggests that Disney is looking at getting back to the 90-day exclusivity window for theaters.

What about the digital release? That tends to take a little less time by as much as a month or six weeks. We could be looking at the start of the new year for this release.
