With the gothic look to The Crow, you'll likely want it on DVD in time for Halloween. Will that happen? We take a look at a likely release date.

We would love to say exactly when The Crow is heading to DVD and Blu-ray. That’s not possible at this point, but we can take an educated guess to help predict the release date. Will it be in time for Halloween?

This is a remake of the 1994 movie, which follows two soulmates who end up killed by a bunch of demons from the past. Eric Draven is offered the chance to get revenge and bring his love back, but it will mean that he needs to become The Crow.

This is not a movie that you’ll want to miss. Whether you loved the original or not, this remake has one reason you’ll want to see it. It’s all about Bill Skarsgård.

The Crow could come out in time for Halloween

While there isn’t a release date yet, we can predict the release. This is a Lionsgate movie, and we’re expecting the DVD release to follow the pattern set by previous releases this year. For the purpose of this, we’re looking at The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and Imaginary.

These two movies took a little more than two months to go from theaters to DVD. With that in mind, we’re looking at The Crow to head to DVD around Tuesday, Oct. 29. Maybe The Powers That Be will see that this could make a great Halloween release and bring it out a week earlier. At least with the Tuesday release, there’s time to get it before Halloween on Thursday, Oct. 31.

There will be a way to get the movie on Halloween night, though. It’ll be available on Digital in time for that. This is likely to happen within the month, and we’re looking at a Digital release date to happen around Tuesday, Sept. 17 based on the previous two movies mentioned.
