When could Imaginary come to DVD and Blu-ray?

Sometimes, stuffed toys aren’t just stuffed toys. That’s the message Imaginary offers us. We’re taking a look at when this movie could join your DVD collection.

The Blumhouse movie is the latest horror to hit theaters. This is a supernatural ride, with a stuffed toy potentially being possessed by something. If you love Blumhouse movies, this is certainly one to check out right now.

Of course, some people prefer to watch horror movies at home. You can hide behind the pillow without anyone judging you. You may want to avoid bringing your childhood stuffed toy down for this one, though. You may start to question whether it’s real or not.

Imaginary doesn’t yet have a DVD release date just yet, though. That’s not surprising with it only just out in theaters. We’re looking at a potential date for the release.

Imaginary DVD release date predictions

For this movie, we’re looking at Saw X and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Both of these are Lionsgate movies released at the end of 2023, and Imaginary is a Lionsgate movie. It would make sense for them to have a similar DVD release pattern.

It took just short of two months for the latest Saw movie to hit shelves after theaters. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes took a little longer, taking a whole three months to make it to DVD. We could potentially see something similar to Saw X. The Hunger Games prequel was a much bigger release in theaters due to the interest from the book.

With that in mind, we’re looking at around Tuesday, May 7 for Imaginary to come to DVD and Blu-ray. This will depend on whether Lionsgate wants to head back to the 90-day exclusivity window for theaters, though.

What about the Digital release? That could be much sooner, with both the other movies taking around a month. It could mean around Tuesday, April 2 or Tuesday, April 9.
