When could Beetlejuice Beetlejuice come to DVD and Blu-ray?
It is time for the highly anticipated sequel to the 1980s Beetlejuice. Yes, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is now out in theaters, and that’s where you’ll want to watch it first.
This is a direct sequel, with Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, and Catherine O’Hara reprising their roles. We’ll also see Jenna Ortega take the lead as the rebellious teenage daughter of Lydia Deetz.
While the theaters is where you’ll want to watch the movie first, there is no doubt that you’ll want to add this to your DVD collection. There isn’t a release date yet, but this is a Warner Bros. movie, which means we stand a good chance of estimating the release date. It probably won’t be in time for Halloween.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice DVD release date predictions
In some good news, we will probably see the DVD release happen in time for Christmas. We’re looking at The Watchers and Trap to get an idea of the Warner Bros. release schedule. The Watchers took about a month and a half to head to DVD after the theatrical release, while Trap looks to be taking about three months.
We’re probably going to see the sequel to the gothic horror comedy take the longer period of time. After all, it’s sure to be big in theaters. That suggests that we’ll get to watch the movie on DVD and Blu-ray from around Tuesday, Dec. 3 or Tuesday, Dec. 10.
Do you want to watch it this Halloween, though? There is a good chance that the Digital release will happen in time for this. Both previous Warner Bros. movies took around a month to go from theaters to Digital. With that in mind, we could see Beetlejuice 2 on Digital around Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Something that we are on the lookout for is signs of a combo pack being released. There’s a good chance that we’ll see both movies released together in one boxset, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
